IT Program Preparation
<
This course provides students with information about how to apply their IT knowledge into the business environment. Course includes resume writing, job preparation, interview skills and employer expectations. Summary of IT knowledge for application in the workplace.
Course Student Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate the understanding of overall competencies, such as analyzing or describing the job assignment in relationship to principles, concepts or procedures covered in the field of study to prepare for work place experience.
- Demonstrate the understanding of workplace ethics, behavior, attitudes, team work and interpersonal relations that meet industry standards for the ITS course of study.
Credits:2
Prerequisites: "C" or better in ICS 211; "C" or better in ITS 129 and Eng 100; and Sp 151
Co-requisites:ITS 124 and ITS 288 (or prior completion of either). Students must also allow at least 8 hours a week (100 hours total) for scheduling IT work experience.
